Space Vandenberg Internship Program
The Space Vandenberg Internship Program will bring together students and faculty from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, regional community colleges, and UC Santa Barbara to work alongside experts at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB). Each summer, technical teams from VSFB and launch providers will partner with university faculty to define forward-looking internship projects spanning various topics. Undergraduate intern teams will gain hands-on experience working in a unique, mission-critical environment. This program will create a pipeline of talent and innovation by equipping students from various educational backgrounds to solve real-world, interdisciplinary problems, advancing VSFB and the region as a national leader in space launch and technology.
This project is supported through a California Job’s First award to REACH Central Coast, launching Space Vandenberg and accelerating growth at and around Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB).
