Vandenberg Space Force Projects

Team up with civil engineers across over 110K acres of Vandenberg Space Force Base to execute field maintenance engineering on HVAC, power distribution systems, water distribution systems and any other infrastructure systems we maintain to support our high-volume launch cadence. You’ll interface with military, civilian, and contractor personnel to keep our spaceport operational and learn the fundamentals of how we support SpaceX, ULA, and FireFly launch providers.

Develop the first phase of a plan and potentially deliver Spaceport 101 training course materials and training program that teaches the full breadth of Spaceport operations. Partner with subject matter experts to integrate technical deep dives into areas like, safety risk analysis, link margin analysis, telemetry data parameters, various real time data formats, and other higher level explorations of the various systems that are used to support test and space lift operations.

Join a rapid prototyping team charged with developing advanced training aids for VSFB organizations. Leverage industry leading fabrication capabilities build scaled recreations of operational technology and produce high volumes of products after using state-of-the-art software (e.g., SolidWorks) and hardware.
